Sonora Desert

12-15 February 2006

This single track bike tour is in the spectacular giant saguaro country east of Phoenix, Arizona. We went again with Rim Tours.

Were ready to go.

There is a lot of different vegetation and one of the areas is also used for riding horses.

Our campsite and our two little tents with Yvonne in between.

Desert sunset scene from our campsite.

A few minutes later the full moon appeared.

A few hours and several two-buck-chucks later, everyone enjoys the campfire. In case you dont know two-buck-chuck: its an eminently drinkable and now legendary wine for $1.99 (2 bucks) by Charles Shaw (available only at Trader Joes).

The single track winds through the spectacular, very healthy landscape.

Needless to say, we really had a good time.
